Micro futures contracts are often offered at 1/10th or even 1/5th the size of standard contracts, so you can trade with less up-front capital.
Minimum Account Size

Both Futures/Futures Options and Forex are regulated by the NFA, which has no rules on day trading. As such, Futures/Futures Options and Forex round trips don't count toward the PDT rules and funds covering margin on Futures/Futures Options and Forex positions don't count toward the $25,000 FINRA equity requirement.
Under the PDT rules, you must maintain minimum equity of $25,000 in your margin account prior to day trading on any given day. If the account falls below the $25,000 requirement, you cannot day trade until you are back at or above the $25,000 minimum.
