Toroids are a special type of resource that was added when Orb Vallis and Fortuna were added to Warframe, which brought a lot of new features to the game.
Along with the new update came multiple resources, including the Toroids, which have 5 different variants that can be collected.
These resources are used for Warframes, Amps, weapons, and cosmetics and are required in different quantities depending on what you plan on crafting.
Where To Farm Toroids?
Toroids and other resources that were introduced along with them can be found in Orb Vallis, the open world outside of Fortuna.
Depending on what Toroid you plan to farm, you will need to head to a certain area in Orb Vallis to defeat enemies or challenge bosses for the resource.
You can leave Orb Vallis at any time you want by going into Fortuna to extract your resources and may reenter to farm Toroids again.
How To Get All Toroids?
There are five Toroids that may be obtained which are Vega, Calda, Sola, Crisma, and Lazulite Toroid, which may all be obtained by picking them up in caves or killing enemies.
Each Toroid may be farmed at a certain location and may drop from most enemies with higher chances with a few specific ones.
The following are all the Toroids and how to get them:
1) Vega Toroid
Vega Toroids can drop from enemies found around the Spaceport in Orb Vallis and may also sometimes drop when you destroy Mite Raknoids.
When killing enemies at the Spaceport or Mite Raknoids, there is a chance that these will drop as normal resources that are automatically picked up.
Exploring some of the caves in Orb Vallis will sometimes provide you with a chance to pick these up by interacting with them.
You can find the Spaceport on the lower right side of Orb Vallis.
2) Calda Toroid
Calda Toroids can be obtained by defeating enemies around the Enrichment Labs in Orb Vallis and may also be dropped by Scyto Raknoids.
As you continue to kill enemies when you are inside or near the Enrichment Labs, you will notice that these will start to drop like other resources.
This resource can also be obtained in caves and may be picked up once you approach them, which is sometimes one of the fastest ways to get your hands on one.
The Enrichment Labs can be found in the lower left of Orb Vallis.
3) Sola Toroid
Getting your hands on a Sola Toroid is possible by heading to the Temple of Profit in Orb Vallis and killing enemies or finding Kyta Raknoids to destroy.
Just like the other Toroids, there is a chance that you may find this lying around and may pick it up by interacting with it.
Fighting enemies when at the Temple of Profit is one of the best ways for you to get Sola Toroids, especially with Farming Warframes.
The Temple of Profit is located in the upper left part of Orb Vallis.
4) Crisma Toroid
Obtaining the Crisma Toroid is a bit different from the other variants as this can only be obtained by defeating the Profit-Taker Orb.
The Profit-Taker Orb fight is a boss fight that you can get by visiting the Vox Solaris Syndicate room, where Little Duck may be found.
Defeating the Profit-Taker Orb has a guaranteed Crisma Toroid drop along with other loot when it is destroyed.
You may challenge the Profit-Taker by speaking with Little Duck in Fortuna. (Phase 4)
5) Lazulite Toroid
The Lazulite Toroid is the rarest and considered to be the most valuable of all the Toroids and is only obtainable by defeating the Exploiter Orb.
This requires that you fight this Grand Boss and aside from obtaining a Lazulite Toroid, you also get other rewards, including Hildryn Components.
Aside from defeating the Exploiter Orb, there is currently no other way for players to efficiently farm Lazulite Toroids.
You may challenge the Exploiter Orb by speaking to Little Duck in Fortuna.
Toroid Uses
Each of the Toroids has its uses and all of them may be traded for Vox Solaris Standing while some are used to increase your rank with the syndicate.

Trading Toroids For Vox Solaris Standing
Collecting Toroids is necessary for obtaining Vox Solaris Standing as these may be traded for a certain amount based on which one you give.
These can be traded to Little Duck for the following Standing:
- Vega Toroid (1,000)
- Calda Toroid (1,000)
- Sola Toroid (1,000)
- Crisma Toroid (6,000)
- Lazulite Toroid (12,000)
Verdict
Toroids are often rare resources to obtain but the chances of getting them can be increased if you have a Farming Warframe. (Nekros Recommended)
Bringing a Smeeta Kavat can be a huge help when farming Toroids and if you manage to have an active Resource Booster, you can easily get tons.
Aside from crafting, your main use for Toroids will be trading them for standing, which will allow you to rank up with Vox Solaris.
