Did you submit your application for the Seniors Real Estate Property Tax Relief Program?Now you can check to see if your online application was successfully submitted, or if your paper application has been entered into the database for processing. It may take up to 48 hours for online submissions to appear, and paper applications appear as they are processed by the Collector’s office. This look-up tool does NOT indicate if your application is accepted or rejected. Beginning in mid-June, the Collector's office will start sending out acceptance and rejection notices. Rejection notices will include directions for correcting any errors with the application or supporting documents. Check on your application at sccmo.org/SeniorTaxRelief. If you qualify and haven’t submitted yours yet, applications are due June 30!

New interns are headed out into various fields around the county, including the Office of the Prosecuting Attorney, St. Charles County Public Health and Community Development. Congrats!🎣The St. Charles County Parks Aquatics team performed a fish count at The Park at New Melle Lakes. This team maintains the quality of the water and other elements of fish habitat to ensure the fish are healthy and growing. Check the Parks and Recreation website to see where you can go fishing in St. Charles County Parks!🍳Now we're hungry! St. Charles County Police Department Chaplain Tadlock made custom order omelets for dispatchers at Emergency Communications this week to thank them for all the hard work they do for the county.

Eligible residents have to apply for the tax freeze every year to keep their tax amount frozen. The tax freeze begins in tax year 2024 and does not apply retroactively.
