  • Smash Summit is a series of invitational tournaments hosted by Beyond The Summit (BTS). This series can be considered a spinoff of the popular DOTA Summit (formerly known as The Summit), which was first held in 2014. The series concluded following Smash Ultimate Summit 6 after Beyond the Summit's decision to shut down after the event. The tournaments typically consisted of a combination of top player invites and vote-in players. Historically, 16 players total participated in the tournament, but this number had gone as high as 20. The vote-in process had players campaign for votes from the community on start.gg. Proceeds from the voting campaigns and the start.gg tournament store were used to fund the event and also to contribute to the overall prize pool. The players participated in a variety of casual and competitive Smash-related activities, all of them livestreamed. The event concluded with a double elimination tournament. Smash Summit is also noted for using players in video skits which parody popular media or otherwise lampshade player tropes.

  • Smash Summit was a tournament hosted by Beyond The Summit (BTS) that featured ten invited players and six players voted in by the community. Beyond The Summit aimed to create a "behind the scenes" oriented tournament, inspired by TakeTV's Homestory Cup in StarCraft 2, where the fans can see sides of their favorite players that they don't normally get to see. To achieve this, the tournament was held at the BTS House in Los Angeles, where the crew currently live and work. The tournament had a base prize pool of $11,600. A Donation Drive Shop similar to the Big House 5 Compendium was used to increase the singles prize pool to $32,929.

  • Smash Summit 13 was an invitational major tournament, hosted by Beyond The Summit (BTS), held on May 12-15, 2022. The singles tournament was heavily impacted by COVID-19. On May 9, Pipsqueak announced he had tested positive, and would be unable to attend. He was then replaced by Mekk. On day 3, positive tests, symptoms, and close contacts led to both DarkGenex and Sora dropping mid-tournament, and Plup not competing on the third day. On day 4, a positive test led to Blue dropping out before the Double Elimination bracket. The format of the event was altered to account for the missing players and to fill time for other canceled activities.
